speaker-1: very excited this week to welcome to the Mainly Immunology podcast, Christina Rodenbeck, who you may know as the Oxford astrologer. Welcome, Christina. Hiya. We are going to talk about the week's astrology, but then we're also going to talk about Christina's new book, which is called Lilith Untamed. And if you know anything about me, you know I love anything that's got anything to do with Lilith. So I'm very excited to do that. speaker-0: when speaker-1: Um, so Christina, um, I told you we're going to talk about the astrology of the week ahead. There's a lot of big energy, including some very lovely healing energy and also energy that's about healing the feminine. Cause we're going to have Venus and Chiron conjunct, which is nice. There are also some sun aspects involving Saturn, Neptune and Pluto. So we're dealing with limitations and then. with the dissolution of boundaries and transformation is a lot. And we're also going to have a look at Black Moon Lilith, who I know is in the first decan of Sagittarius. So ⁓ I think if I had to sum up the astrology for the week ahead, I would say it's about hard work leading to transformation though, because we also have a very rare alignment between Saturn and Pluto, which is actually massive and potentially quite groundbreaking and life-changing for some people, depending on your chart. March the 22nd, which is actually Sunday when this podcast comes out, we actually get a really nice energy. We small hours of Sunday morning, we get Mars. making a harmonious alignment to Jupiter. Now this is obviously going to be really nice for people's energies on Saturday night. So if you've got a party on Saturday night, it's probably going to go quite well. and then also on that day, we have the sun conjunct Neptune. So when I see those together like that, what I'm thinking is if you've had a big night, spend Sunday being very gentle with yourself, maybe having a nice warm bath or doing some meditating or what do you think? there, Miss Christina. speaker-0: It's really sweet that you think that people have stopped on Sunday. The party continues and you're going to, you know, the main thing I would suggest is be careful how much you're drinking or consuming because to me that is like sex and drugs and rock and roll. Sounds lovely, doesn't it? But it's the combination of Mars and Pisces, Jupiter in Cancer. These are the water signs. I mean, maybe you're going to have speaker-1: when you put it like that. speaker-0: And also Jupiter has only just gone direct, right? So it's, think it's still on the same stage. speaker-1: Yeah, in fact, you are actually quite right because in a way you could say that the Mars-Jupiter energy from Saturday night is going to carry over into the Sunday morning and then you're going to end up in a sun-conjunct Neptune puddle as opposed to in the bath meditating. speaker-0: In the bath meditation, that's for the very sophisticated and elevated among your listeners. Those who are less in control of art, you know, it may just be a huge hangover. speaker-1: Right, okay. Right, warning noted, exactly. And then on Wednesday, we actually have like paying the piper possibly, sun conjunct Saturn. So you start, Christina. I mean, let people know sun conjunct Saturn happens once a year. What can people expect? speaker-0: Well, it's a really important sun conjunct. It's always an important day of the year to stop and sit and take and assess. However, this year it happens to be happening in Aries, which is not a stop and listen and assess sign. It's a go forth and make plans. So it's an incredible day for planning. Not only that, and for getting together with your Capricorn friends or your Aquarian friends who are ruled by Saturn. Not only that, it's beginning to make this sex style with Pluto. So the sun is going to transfer, it's going to go from making conjunction to Saturn to making a sextal to Pluto the following day. So that's really, it's like pulling together the energy. And furthermore with this sun Saturn conjunction, it's come from Neptune, right? A few days earlier that we were just talking about when you're busy sorting out your hangover or having a transcendental experience in the bath. So the Cancerian, right? Exactly. speaker-1: In the bar. speaker-0: Everything happens in the bath. speaker-1: It does, 100%. speaker-0: So it's moving from Neptune, then this is the Sun, it moves from Neptune to Saturn to a sextile with Pluto. So it's making these connections. So you could say it's connecting this idealism of Neptune with the practicality of Saturn and the kind of cutting through of Pluto. So it is a really great week for making plans and actually starting to execute them almost immediately. speaker-1: Yeah. And actually it could also be that on the 22nd, we do all the envisaging of what we want to, know, the creative visualization, the imagination, the dreams of what we want to create. And then on the 25th, when the sun has moved from Neptune to Saturn, that's when we do that strategy. That would also work quite nicely as well. So in fact, it's quite a good week to strategize. I've got a girlfriend in Australia who's going through a bit of a rough time at the moment professionally and she's all over it, she's sorting it all out. So for anyone like that, it's like, yeah, use, use the start of the week to kind of have the big dream of what you want to achieve and then use the sun satin on the 25th to do the strategy, write it all down, make a plan, get serious, all that kind of stuff. speaker-0: I like that idea a lot. love that. then even because you get the Pluto coming in, it's like actually start doing it on the next day. Yeah. It's like, you know, the vision board is Sunday once you've dealt with the hangover. speaker-1: Or do it while you're still a bit drunk. I'm not being funny. I sometimes think, I know people who will have a glass of champagne and then do a vision board. I actually wouldn't. Just for the record, I'm not much of a drinker. It just doesn't suit me that much. So don't come at me for being an unsacred vision boarder. But I know people, some people have a drink and then they write, for example. So by all means do it before the hangover kicks in. speaker-0: Yeah, yeah. And I like the idea that despite the fact that we're all going to hell in a handbasket, it's actually a year for getting things, you can get things done. You can move things ahead in your own life. speaker-1: Exactly, exactly. Okay. And then we have on March 26, which is Thursday, we have Venus conjunct Chiron. Now Venus is the planet of love and abundance and ⁓ Chiron is the wounded healer or the healing planetoid. So for me, know, when something, when I see something like that, what I'm thinking is, you know, watch out if you're in a toxic relationship, because you could get triggered very badly. It can be very painful, but assuming you've extricated yourself from any toxic relationships and you're doing what you can to heal your heart or heal your relationship with money or feel more whole in your femininity, it can be a healing day. So it could be a really beautiful day. to do some work with the divine feminine, for example, or with goddesses. I'm just thinking as well, because it's in Aries, you know, I mean, one of the goddesses that I most strongly associate with Aries is Athena, who's like the warrior goddess. So it can be a day of maybe becoming, working on your femininity while being assertive. mean, most of our listeners are female, which is why I'm saying that. What about you over there, Christine? What do you see in that? Especially. given your work with Black Moon Lilith as well, which must surely have some relation to the femininity of Venus somewhere. Yes, it does. can tell me. speaker-0: Yeah, I'm just looking actually at Lilith this week and she is actually the whole week she's at around 10 degrees of Sagittarius and she's making a kind of square aspect to the nodes. So she's quite pivotal and she's in Sagittarius and that does suggest more information coming out, more Lilith style information, more floods of information. We'd have to check this, but I think this may be the last time Venus and Chiron make a conjunction in Aries before they move. before Chiron moves out of Aries. Chiron is going to move into Taurus in July, I think, and then it moves back into Aries for a while. So it's like, there's that shimmy of going back and forth. But it's been in Aries for such a long time and anybody born with Chiron in Aries knows this. It's been there for years, bringing up a lot of old pain actually for people and helping them to move on. And I would suggest that this conjunction is about love. It's about love affairs at any rate. Maybe not always the actual emotion, but about the affairs, the social relations. And it's a moment again, where you could have some healing, especially for those people who were born with Chiron and Aries, which is mainly people in the 1970s, I think, have that. you've probably, and a lot of women in particular, if you were born with Chiron and Aries, you had your Chiron return in the last seven years. You've had that transition. I find that Chiron is associated with initiations and this day would be a good day for some kind of female initiation. So. speaker-1: So talking about giving up pain, think that's really profound actually and very spot on. I think what you're referring to Christina is the fact that this is the last Chiron, Venus Chiron conjunction ⁓ before Chiron moves into Taurus. So in other words, we're at the end of this cycle. Tell us about the giving up of the pain. speaker-0: Pain is really about many things, right? So we kind of glibly say, ⁓ it's the wounded healer, la la la, it's the rainbow bridge to the sky. But I find that it's about initiation and often the initiation is through pain, right? Or there's some form of initiation. speaker-1: through pain. speaker-0: Yeah, not always, but quite often, or a kind of initiation that requires some kind of suffering or something, some kind of exertion. And it seems to have been even more, especially so when it's been in Aries. Currently in Aries, it's been tough for a lot of people, especially, like I said, those people born with it, or if you have it in Libra in the opposite sign, you know, it's been tough. And when it makes this conjunction with Venus, that's about relationships. It really is. It's about relationships and it's about what it means to be a woman. Right? And one of the things that I noticed with Chiron is that it's very connected to the menopause, right? The Chiron return. And when you have the Chiron return, doesn't mean you're going to have the menopause at that moment, but often that is the period of the menopause, dealing with menopause. So again, that's really interesting for people, particularly people born with Chiron and Aries, because you've probably been through it or you're about to go through it. It's around that time of your life. And there may be questions just even on this day about what does it mean to be a woman? Right? And what is the pain of being a woman, the physical pain, but what does that allow us entry to? Because what happens with an initiation is that a doorway opens, right? Into something. It's, you know, the cracks are where the light gets in, right? That's what we're talking about. And that is Chiron. And when it's making this conjunction with Venus, that's about love and light. Love and light. Where the love of light brigade suddenly asmen. Love finding its way through the cracks, right? How is an initiation? How is the pain? How is this made you more loving? Would be a question to ask yourself on that day. speaker-1: Yeah. And also I think, you going, are you ready to heal? Because I think that's a thing that happens with people is, you you have to kind of decide to heal. So maybe it's a good day to ask yourself, am I ready to heal? Yeah, you kind of have to make the choice. Exactly. Exactly. Okay. So that was a lot deeper than I was expecting. You really brought the feeling out of that one, Christina. I feel, I really felt that one. So thank you for that. Let's now look at. speaker-0: You have to make the choice to speaker-1: The final aspect of the week, is really one of the headlines of 2026, which is Saturn, sex Pluto, Saturn being also in Aries and Pluto being an Aquarius. So do you want to have a little chat about that one? it's a huge, that's a big one. Maybe start by explaining why it is a big one as well. speaker-0: Well, I mean, first of all, I would say that this kind of aspect is so big, but it's not like on a day, right? It's like the whole actually probably this end bit of March and going into April, this is going to be these two are going to be working together, which ⁓ if you look at your own chart, you might find the sex doll. When Saturn and Pluto were working together, you get real stuff happening in your own life and in the world. It's very consequential. It's dynamic. It's a dynamic aspect because it's a sextile, so it's not like static and it's not too smooth either. So you end up being up and that's again, gives it this dynamism because this forward momentum and everything's moving forward at the moment. And it's connecting also Aquarius and Aries, right? So you've got Pluto and Aquarius, Saturn and Aries and Pluto and Aquarius has been so consequential already in the world. You can see that. Especially if you're, and personally, if you're an Aquarius or a Leo, it's probably already had this effect. One obvious thing about Pluto and Aquarius is just a war in the air, right? So we've had all these drones. So I would say also watch out for the consequences of some of this war in the air that's been going on, cyberspace as well. It'd be interesting to see what happens with the ⁓ energy, with the strata formos, let's put it bluntly. right? And the fact that the energy's been cut off for most of, for a lot of the world, right? Which has repercussions. And this is this Pluto in Aquarius and it's making the sextile with Saturn, which is really good for us personally, right? Because we can get stuff done, but it's also about stopping something. Something's being stopped. speaker-1: Yeah. If we were to see Saturn squaring Pluto right now, given everything that's been going on in the world, I think I would be very worried, but it's a harmonious aspect. So hopefully it's about trying to put things back together a little bit, having taken them apart. I mean, it is overall, just for people who might be concerned, it is overall a positive aspect. Would you agree with that Christina? speaker-0: Yeah, it's a dynamic aspect is how I see it. But it's dynamic in a positive way. So you can do stuff with this. And what I would say about this is do the things that you can do, right? And don't worry about the other stuff because there's nothing you can do about it, right? But you can do stuff with this Saturn, Pluto, sextile. It's dynamic. It's exciting. It's forward looking, right? So do your thing, especially with Aries, you know, which is like personal, one of the very personal signs is me. speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: So do that. And if you're interested in the astrology of the world, pay attention to what's happening. speaker-1: Yeah. And I think on a personal level as well, you know, it can be as simple as like Christine has pointed out, because this is such a big transit, not just on the day by any means. We're already in it. We'll be in it for a while afterwards as well. It's a long-term theme. And, you know, I love to work with keywords for astrology and, know, Saturn is about building and hard work and Pluto is definitely about getting rid of the dead wood and transformation, you know, so putting them together, especially for anyone who's in any relationship crisis going on, because we were talking about the Venus-Chiron connection, it can be that hard work will lead to transformation now. Pluto tends to be psychological, ⁓ so it's really about the psychological releasing of anything toxic. I always think of Pluto as, amongst other things, being the plumber of the zodiac. So if things are blocked, Pluto can come along with its suction thing and... unblock the drains and let all the crap go or squeeze the pimple and get rid of the pus. you know, and because it's a harmonious aspect, I mean, I just think it's worth knowing that we're in this cycle where it is worth working hard for transformation because, you know, if you work hard enough, you just might get something along those lines. But obviously you do need to know where it's taking place in your child. speaker-0: Yeah, I like that you're underlining hard work, right? You can't just sort of float along and let it happen with this aspect. It's like, yeah, get your teeth into it. Yeah. Bite it, you know? speaker-1: Yeah. And what needs to go, you know, what, what is toxic? What, what has to be released? You know, what is going to heal your heart? You know, do that. Yeah. Okay. So look, we've talked about the planet. I also want to talk about Lilith. Now for anyone who doesn't know, I mentioned Christina has a new book out called Lilith Untamed, which sounds slightly menacing because she was never very tame anyway. So she's now been untamed. It's like, wow, unleashed all over the place. For those of you who don't know, Lilith is not a physical body. Lilith is a mathematical point in the moon's orbit, correct? A bit like the nodes for anyone who knows about the nodes. Now, I looked up a quick definition and I get Lilith associated with, is it femininity or the rejected femininity? Tell me, what do you see? Do you see rejection as a part of... speaker-0: I but I think what I would say, I'll read you the first line of my book, which is, we humans are a mixture, civilized and wild, tame and untamed, raw and refined more and less. The untamed part of yourself may be deeply buried beneath a sediment of inhibition, good manners or fear. Or on the other hand, your untamed self may have taken over. And that is what Lilith is. And sometimes it is definitely associated with feminine energy. But I wouldn't want people to get too far down that line that it's just that. So, you know, one of my favorite examples of Willard, and this is worn out by the astrology, is Heathcliff. Okay. So I don't know if people have watched that, Wuthering Heights. I haven't because I love the book too much. I have somebody else's vision of it, but I'm not sure I love the book. I always thought Heathcliff, oh my God, he's so difficult, you know, with the point. Heathcliff is Lilith, okay? If you want a male version of Lilith. And Emily Bronte, who wrote that book, she had Lilith in her seventh house, okay? Which means on her descendant. So she was looking at Heathcliff, she was describing Heathcliff. So Heathcliff is Lilith. And we all have a kind of Heathcliff in us somewhere, which we may have to suppress or we may have to deal with, we may have to encounter in some way. And it can be also the untamed feminine. In culture, it comes out as the untamed feminine. as the feminine because that is what many cultures are so frightened of, is female power. Yeah, I think so. What's the most terrifying thing? A strong one. That's why this is Lilith. And the thing, know, Lilith archetype is very Jungian, but the thing that identifies it specifically that you can use, the tool that you can use is astrology because there it is. Your Lilith is marked in your astrological chart. There are sort of two points to it. There's the mean Lilith and the true Lilith. I tend to use the mean, but you can use both. And there is ⁓ something that I've labeled the Via Lamia, which is the road between the two Liliths, which will tell you where this untamed area is in your life. And it may be something that is literally within you. So you get this, another incredible example of someone with a very powerful Lilith, and this is recent, is Amy Winehouse. Amy Winehouse looks like Lilith, right? She looks like Lilith. She sang like Lilith from the depth. She sang about Lilith subjects being rejected, having your heart broken, feeling, and she lived a Lilith life. Guess where her Lilith lived? On her MC, on her mid-heaven. speaker-1: ⁓ Conjunct her son. Wow, okay, interesting. speaker-0: So that's what we saw, her audience saw her acting out And if you see some of the footage of her at Glastonbury and places, there she is actually acting out Lilith for the collective, right? So in fact, her entire life ended up being an enactment of these Lilith stories. speaker-1: So I have a little question here. I have my new Darkmoon Oracle cards and I have a Lilith card. I have written about Lilith here, often called the first feminist in Jewish folklore. Lilith, the ancient Mesopotamian goddess, was created from the same clay as Adama. When she refused to obey him, she was cast out and replaced by E. With a snake in her hand, she reminds us that transformation and shedding of the old self is encouraged. ⁓ speaker-0: She can work for women particularly, think. Lilith was, as you know, cast out. She went and lived on the edge of the Red Sea. And she got a nice boyfriend though. She had a lot of sex, as far as we can tell. have to say, astrologically, it's amazing how often Lilith transits turn up when people are having a three-way relationship, when they find themselves being the mistress or the either the person who's got gold or the mistress. And that is Lilith, is that thing of being not quite enough, that feeling of being not quite enough because you've got to have the Eve side. I think that that's where you were talking about what's the relationship with Venus. And it's somehow, if you can kind of integrate those two, the Venus energy and the Lilith energy, you know, that's incredibly powerful. speaker-1: chart that really interested me was Jennifer Aniston. She was so famously cuckolded by Angelina Jolie. She has her Black Moon Lilith at 26 degrees of Gemini in her ninth house. What do you think about that? speaker-0: Yeah her, she's an interesting person. I talk about her in the book because of her, ⁓ the Alamium, which goes all the way across the whole of the Ninth House, which is the House of Publicity, right? The Expec and Lilith can be an incredibly creative force, by the way, for people. So a lot of people who are very creative have like Lilith rising or whatever. But I think that hers is exactly about that Angelina Jolie story and exactly also about the other part of her story, which is very Lilith. So it's in Gemini, which is one of the publishing signs, you know, it's a sign of news and information Gemini. And it's in the ninth, which is the publishing and information house. But the other part of her story, which is so little, which is makes me sad for her actually, is this childlessness, which was used as a cudgel to beat her with. And the contrast between Angelina Jolie, who had like a zillion children, And Jennifer Aniston, who had none, ⁓ and I think has subsequently said that she wanted some, but it just didn't happen for her. And that is Lilith, the story of having either too many children or no children can be a Lilith. So she is representing those Lilith stories, but she does it through the media. She was caught in a trap. And that can also be quite a Lilith thing, to be caught in this trap and caught in a three-way thing. So she represented at least two of the very strong Lilith themes. adultery and childless. speaker-1: So there's the book Lilith Untamed, everything you ever wanted to know about the dark moon Lilith, but you were afraid to ask. Fascinating. All right, so Miss Christina, Oxford astrologer, tell everybody where they can find you online. Obviously the book's on Amazon and in all good bookshops, I suppose. speaker-0: is, it's in that place and the other places online and please buy it. Give it a five-star review, all of that stuff because it's really helpful. If you want to find me, I'm at the Oxford Astrologer and really you just have to Google that and it will come up. speaker-1: Fantastic. All right. Well, thank you so much, Christina. It's been an absolute pleasure to sit down and talk about the astrology that we get and also about Black Moon Lillis, who I think is a very, very interesting point to be discussed. So thank you. speaker-0: It's my pleasure. Thank you for having me, Yasmin. speaker-1: My pleasure.
